Elastosil M4670 silicone is ideal silicone for casting low melt alloys such as pewter. It has outstanding resistance to casting resins as well as superior mechanical properties. M4670 silicone is ideal for all moulds with undercuts and where inherent rigidity of the moulds is required.
It is a medium-Shore addition-curing RTV-2 silicone rubber that cures without undergoing dimensional shrinkage. Elastosil® M4670 is suitable for casting other common reproduction materials, particularly if accurate copies of models with undercuts are required.
